Bliss SC2-300 straight side stamping press repair
This back-shaft unit was taken down in the customers facility in Puerto Rico for repairs
With such extensive damage, the unit was shipped back to our rebuilding facilities for a complete over-haul
The unit was then completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected Flywheel on our boring mill getting set-up for pin boring
Then use only new OEM original parts the Bliss "AK" air clutch/brake unit was re-assembled
After the flywheel was removed from our boring mill it was laid over for new flywheel bearings and the shaft installation
The pinion gear along with the clutch/brake unit was then assembled onto the shaft
The clutch/brake side bearing housing was installed and the unit was bench tested for proper operation and then skidded for shipment
After 6 hours of on-site labor, the back-shaft unit installed back onto machine with all proper guards and ready for operation
